Atlast the sun has made an appearance! It is blinding to look outside, but felt good having it spread it's beams into the house. The plants shout yeah!! Cats and dogs got to sunbathe. I watched the ice glistening from the trees, isicles dripping from the eaves; one can have alittle hope that spring will come forth. But step outside and feel the bitter cold, highs only in the teens today with tonight about five degrees. Crap!!!
Here is Ozzie chewing the maple's frozen branches, hanging low enough with ice so he can reach. He told me "nothing else to graze on".
Today with all the dust from the stove my head is so stuffed up it hurts! This is the only draw-back from these stoves, dust eveywhere and on everthing. So naturally it is in your nose. Just opening it to put wood in brings a wave of ashes out at you. But it is still cheaper then propane. Which we had our tanks filled up with yesterday. Talk about a shock the last time we had the tanks filled it was $2.10 a gallon and now when you need it the most it is $2.99 a gallon. And the gas companies know they have us by the "balls" so to speak. Only good thing is last year we were filling them every five weeks, and so far we went 13 weeks before we needed to fill them. I hope we can to this for another 13 weeks.
They are saying next week a heat wave will arrive with temps in the 30's, one can hope.
Smile someone may smile back or look at you like you are some kind of nut. I think I would be a macadamia nut =^..^=

  2. Vic just bought an Eden Pure infrared heater. It cost under $400 and heats up to a thousand sf for $1 a day. Yes! $1 a day. Check out the Eden Pure website.
