Finally after six days of rain, we are going to see some sunshine. I know you get cabin fever in the Winter but in July!!! So I took a photo of my orange coneflowers through the front windows. Soon my ones called moonglow will bloom and I can snap a few. Hopefully tomorrow wearing barn boots of course I can hit the front garden and hoe and weed. I am so glad that the horse's pasture got cut, not it can GROW. Tomorrow is the fourth of July so everyone out there have a Happy & Safe Fourth smile...................

Finally I have managed somewhat to capture the Great Heron! He is so alert that whenever I try sneaking up to snap a picture he is off into the sky. So this was taken while he walked in the horses pasture, and I was standing on the deck. Managed two shots but then I tried walking down the steps and off he went. So I blew-up the photos.

These are my favorite lilies, their fragrance is such a sweet one that waifs through the air. I wish the scent could be bottled. Just like my little sis (NollsNip) I have quite a variety of both asiatic and day lilys. Today we finished cutting with riding lawnmowers our horses pasture. Took us two days seven hours each but we got it done. We will do anything to save money even beat our bodies up bouncing over the ruts. Looks really nice though and with rain coming for the next four days it will green up nicely. Ozzie & Oroe followed us around just eating the cut grass. They must think hey we don't have to pull up grass - Mom & Dad will do it for us =^..^= SMILE
