See how Stuey is just laying around, doesn't look guilty at all. But don't let looks fool you, he is evil through and through! But so cuddly on the outside. Pop & Ice he loves to destroy everything, from papers, flowers, books ,pieces of wood, you name it he destroys it. Evil like Stuey from Family Guy ( his namesake) =^..^=

Doesn't look like the tiny kitten in the profile pic does he!!! A big boy now.

Here is one of my favorite roses, of course it is purple! Well after I picked and photographed I set it down on the dining room table. Guess which brat of mine decided "hey something to tear apart"!! So my sweet big Stuey decided it would be the fun thing to do. He figures if I had wanted to save it I would never have left it where he could get to it. Poor rose was everywhere in a million little pcs. And Stuey was just laying there looking all sweet - right. So the next one I pick and dry will be placed out of his little paws reach. Still smiling

"A real gardener is not a man who cultivates flowers; he is a man who cultivates the soil... If he came into the Garden of Eden he would sniff excidedly and say:'Good Lord, what humus!'"

He who plants a garden, plants happiness.

Chinese Proverb

What a desolate place would a world without flowers!

It would be a face without a smile, a feast without a

welcome.

I have noticed the almost selfish passion for their flowers that old gardeners have, and their reluctance to part with a leaf or a blossom from their family. They love the flowers for themselves. charles dudley warner

I must agree with this as I hate to part with anything I have grown and nurtured, but I do pass on seeds and parts of plants which have gotten too large. As I just sent seeds all the way to WA. smileeeeeeeeeeeee

When at last I took the time to look into the heart of a flower, it opened up to a whole new world... as if a window had been opened to let in the sun.

Buzzzzzzzzzzz - whirl - zoom - chirp!!!! Finally have captured the blur of the hummer. I took these pics through the back window where I have placed a feeder. I moved all the feeders from the front, where we couldn't watch them to the back around our deck. Now we can sit outside and watch them fly all around us. I have four feeders up and along with the hummers the orioles are feasting. How many can say they have even held a hummer in their hand? I have and it was like holding air. One of the pleasures in my life. SMILE!
