I would like to Thank my neighbor Heather! She stopped by with home-made cookies, and before I could snap a picture to post George was already into them. Yes Heather they were good, and the dogs didn't get any lol. What were the long thin ones, George said they were too spicy. The reminded me of a German cookie pheffernuss (spelling). I liked them.
We have pretty much seen the snow melt, because of all the rain we had, so we have ponds everywhere! But by tonight they say the snow and cold come back. But it was nice having 40* plus temps.
Only sad note was either due to the high waters, or old age, or a coyote or owl my white duck "Whitie" has gone missing. Two days now and I only hope he went down stream for a long swim and will show back up. For 20+ years Gertie the goose has had three white male ducks. She finds them and brings them home to live with her. So now we wait and see what happens.
